Life is like a rock. Sitting still and firmly on your chair.
Have you ever experienced "a full 9 to 7 day sitting down at your spot; waiting for your turn for presentation" kind of meeting? The interesting part is that minutes before your mind is full of mental rehearsal of what you want to say; and programming yourself on not to repeat the same mistakes those presenters made before you. Minutes later after the presentation, your mind is out there, yes I mean far far away from the board room, wandering about the things you want to enjoy, the food you want to eat later.
Life is miserable minutes before the meeting, thinking about tricks on impressing the bosses; anticipating and countering those unexpected questions. Most importantly, demand respect from your co-workers or peers... I am smarter! :-p
Life is, on the other hand, free and easy after the presentation (provided you are not bombarded by the board members), wandering about the seven wonders of the world; floating in your own virtual world if you have wi-fi available at the board room. I am free! :-}
Life is, in fact, what you think it is. Still & confined; or slick and freed. What you think will come around, what you think will be materialised.
Life is wonderful, especially when you have a cup of brewed coffee in your hand. Smooth & tasty!
